Terms & Conditions for App Control Offer:
This document outlines the terms and conditions of the Offer: ‘Free VELUX App Control offer, 2024’, which is executed by the Promoter: VELUX Company Ltd, located at Woodside Way Glenrothes Fife, KY7 4ND. These terms will describe the conditions under which a purchaser of roof windows (referred to in this document as the Participant) can claim a free App Control (KIG 300) via our VELUX webshop as part of the Offer
FREE APP CONTROL OFFER INFORMATION
1. To benefit from the Offer, the Participant must have registered for the Offer by filling out the form at velux.co.uk/freeapp (United Kingdom residents) or velux.ie/freeapp (Republic of Ireland residents) or via the in-app process by clicking the ‘I don’t have a gateway’ button after registering as a user.
2. The Offer of one free VELUX App Control (KIG 300) is open to residents of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland with a qualifying purchase of a VELUX solar or electric roof window, as specified by VELUX Group.
3. Qualifying products include VELUX solar and electric pitched roof windows as well as VELUX solar and electric flat roof windows. Excludes KSX conversion kits.
4. The Offer is valid from April 2024 indefinitely. All qualifying purchases made from January 2024 and onwards are eligible for the Offer.
5. The Offer can be claimed at any time after the purchase or installation of the VELUX solar or electric roof windows, provided the installation is from 2024 or later.
6. A qualifying purchase may include more than one VELUX solar or electric roof window, but the Participant can only claim one FREE VELUX App Control per qualifying purchase – not one App Control per purchased product. There can be only one Participant per qualifying purchase. To claim, customers must register through the designated website or in-app process provided by VELUX Group.
7. Only one free of charge App Control per shipping address will be provided across the duration of this offer.
8. Only VELUX products purchased in United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland from an authorised reseller, installer, or from our VELUX online store are eligible for the Offer.
9. The Offer cannot be combined with other promotions from the Promoter on the same products, nor exchangeable in stores.
10. The Offer is only valid for individuals who have purchased the products for installation in their own private residence and not for those who have purchased the products as part of their work / business.
11. The Promoter and VELUX Group reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Offer at any time without prior notice.
HOW TO CLAIM YOUR FREE APP CONTROL
1. The Participant must register for the Offer by filling out the form at velux.co.uk/freeapp (United Kingdom residents) or velux.ie/freeapp (Republic of Ireland residents). The Participant will then receive a confirmation email containing a unique voucher that will direct them to the online shop, where they can claim their free App Control.
2. Once the Participant has purchased their products and is ready to claim their free App Control, they must complete the registration online form in full. The free App Control can only be transferred to the Participant once the form has been filled in correctly, showing the installation date and product type, surname, first name and email address of the Participant, as well as the other mandatory fields for the proper functioning of the Offer.
3. Dispatch of VELUX App Control may be delayed if information submitted is incorrect or incomplete.
4. Expected lead time of a VELUX App Control is 10 working days from when the Participant places the order through our online shop.
v 5. Entries may be disqualified if:
- they do not fulfill the criteria stated in these terms and conditions - they occur on the basis of a false name or other false registration data - they are an attempt to manipulate or interfere with the registration process - they are carried out from the results generated by a script, a macro or the use of an automatic device - VELUX otherwise believes that they have been made in breach of these terms and conditions, Or - products have been purchased for and installed anywhere other than the Participant’s own residence.
6. By participating in the Offer, the Participant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. We will treat any personal data collected from you, or that you provide to us, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data:

GENERAL
1. Discretion: Where these terms and conditions refer to the exercise of any discretion by the Promoter or VELUX Group or its appointed judges, such discretion shall be absolute, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding any related decisions.
2. Other promotions: All other promotions run by the Promoter or VELUX Group will be governed by their own terms and conditions.
3. Terms and conditions: In addition to these terms and conditions, your use of the VELUX websites will also be subject to any terms of use or privacy policies posted on such websites from time to time. Furthermore, your use of the Offer will also be subject to any terms of use applicable to customers using VELUX App Control.
4. Assignment: VELUX may at any time assign or transfer any or all of its rights and obligations under or arising from these terms and conditions. However, the Participant can always object if such an assignment or transfer results in a reduction of benefits for them.
5. Severability: Each paragraph of these terms and conditions operates separately. If a court or competent authority decides that any of these conditions are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will continue to be fully applicable.
6. Third Party Rights: These terms and conditions relate to an agreement between VELUX and you. No other person has the right to enforce any of these terms.
7. Any consumer has the right to change his mind within 14 days after delivery for contracts concluded at a distance (such as online).
